West Central grocery keeps options healthy

The Spokesman-Review, September 8, 2011. Parkside Grocery and the Monkey Business Café is a new healthy corner store project in Spokane, Washington. The store is the second participant of Spokane Regional Health District’s Healthy Corner Store program. Parkside is the only small store in Spokane that is WIC-approved. The Spokane program is modeled after Seattle’s healthy corner store program, which now has twenty participating stores.
